Picture of melon or footi fruit

Bangi or Futi is a kind of cucumber fruit. The feet are quite large in size. Raw fruits are green, yellow when ripe and burst. The outer side of the fruit is lightly striped notched like a sweet pumpkin. It is not sweet to eat and the inside is hollow. Pomegranate contains a lot of dietary fiber which helps in increasing digestion. It usually grows in sandy soils. In today's photo gallery, some pictures of Bangi or Footi are given.
